Get In On The Old Action
News/Event: Court of Honor (8/25/25)

During this Court of Honor, our Scouts were awarded the merit badges that they had recently earned. Some Scouts also received recognition for earning special awards. This was meeting was an important one because the Troop acknowledges a Scout’s accomplishments. And when the next Court of Honor comes around, the Scouts will have definitely earned even more achievements and rewards.
News/Event: Rocket Launch Night (8/11/25)

During the Rocket Launch Night, the weather may have been hot, but that couldn’t keep the scouts away nor the rockets down. The scouts had a very enjoyable time launching their rockets. The event even seemed to be enjoyed by several people passing by, watching the scouts launch their rockets. The event was truly enjoyed by all. This was overall a very fun event for the scouts to participate in. If you missed it this year, be sure to attend next year. The scouts definitely had fun!
News/Event: Fishing Night at Rural Sportsman (6/23/25)

At the Rural Sportsman… The Scouts enjoyed catching fish and eating the Werley’s amazing trout dip. Many fish were caught, and the scouts also got the opportunity to hang out and talk to another troop (Troop 60). Even though the heat was intense, the scouts still pushed through it and were able to have an extremely fun time at this event.
News/Event: Patrol Cook Off (6/16/25)

During the patrol cookoff, the patrols were faced with two very bizarre cooking secret ingredients – Kool Aid Powder and coconuts. However, the patrols were still able to cook up some very interesting and “surprisingly not bad” dishes according to the judges. This was overall a great night, and the scouts had a very enjoyable time.
News/Event: Sports Night (6/02/25)

For the first half of this Sports Night the scouts did a variety of exercises like, a mile run, pushups, and more to help encourage the first year scouts. The other half of the night was spent playing games like such as barrel tag. Even though it wasn’t one of the most eventful nights, it was still a great time for the scouts regardless.
News/Event: Shelter Building Night (5/12/25)

During Shelter Building Night, the Scouts were challenged to search for a variety of different natural outdoor materials to build their shelters to protect themselves from the “weather” (AKA Older Scouts). Everyone had a great time reviewing their shelter building skills. Even though some scouts did end up getting very wet, everyone still had an enjoyable time during this event.
News/Event: First Aid Night (5/5/25)

During tonight’s First Aid Night meeting, scouts practiced their first aid skills. Even though this meeting was swift, it was a great refresher for the scouts. It was also a great opportunity for the older scouts to help out and teach the younger scouts about necessary first aid skills.
